Since the beginning, human beings have felt the need to locate themselves, find their way and mark out their territory with landmarks and boundary stones.
The exhibition shows this minor heritage in the Grésivaudan and in our village.
On the initiative of the Groupe Patrimoine and with the support of the Municipality, several complementary presentations are organised on this theme around an exhibition produced by the Fédération des Associations Patrimoniales de l'Isère (FAPI) with the contribution of the Groupe Patrimoine and the support of the Department. It shows:
- the know-how in this field and how it has evolved over the centuries,
- a focus on our Grésivaudan area.
It consists of 5 general panels and 5 others specific to the Grésivaudan.
The Groupe Patrimoine, for its part, presents with photos and documents the traces of this history in our village (corvée markers, coachman's plaques, boundary stones...). A theatrical walk, "Aux Eymes sur les pas de Louison, colporteur au XVIIIe siècle" (In Les Eymes in the footsteps of Louison, an 18th-century pedlar), lets you discover this minor heritage of Saint-Nazaire. This walk is offered on Saturday morning and afternoon (see the specific information).
Models made by AVIPAR (Association de Valorisation et Illustration du Patrimoine Architectural et Régional) illustrate the exhibition.
