The Château Servien is above all the only place of remembrance of Abel Servien, Minister of State and negotiator of the Peace of Westphalia.
Outdoor visit of the château and its park, laid out in the early 19th century and graced with very fine trees. Inside, visit of an exhibition tracing the extraordinary career of Abel Servien, who was notably the chief negotiator and sole signatory for France of the Treaties of Westphalia that ended the Thirty Years' War (1648). Screening of videos on the Peace of Westphalia and on the Château de Meudon, Abel Servien's residence at the height of his career. Outside, Baroque background music.
