Forges et Moulins museum in Pinsot
Discover a set of three working mills, powered by the waters of the Gleyzin torrent. A captivating mix of smells and rhythmic beats that takes us back to the daily life of the peasant-workers of yesteryear.
The millstones tirelessly grind the wheat, a thin trickle of walnut oil flows quietly from the press, while the iron-beating mill (tilt hammer) pounds heavily on the red-hot metal… The guided, commented tour includes many demonstrations of traditional skills
