Themed trail Le Champ-prés -Froges

On this heritage trail you will discover, in 7 stages, the village's places of memory and picturesque sites, along with a viewpoint indicator overlooking the Chartreuse.

Stage 1: The town hall and the school
Built in 1890, the same building has housed over time... the town hall, the school with classes for girls and boys, and the village hall.

Stage 2: Notre Dame church and the presbytery
Notre Dame church. It was given around 1100 by Saint Hugh.
A priory was founded in Le Champ during the 12th century.

Stage 3: Hamlets of Les Cochettes and Tigneux

Stage 4: Hamlet of Le Truffat

Stage 5: Hamlets of Les Eymins and Le Châtelard

Stage 6: Bas Champ: Chemin du Châtelard / Vieux Moulins districts

Stage 7: Bas Champ: Les Sources / Champalud district

Approximate duration of the walking trail:
Champ-Le-Haut from panel no. 1 to no. 5: 1 h 30
Champ-Le-Bas from panel no. 6 to no. 7: 30 min.

Good walking shoes are recommended.
