Information for hikers on traffic and access to Mont Granier
Once again, this Thursday 22 July, a "major" ground movement occurred on a slab of Mont Granier on the Isère side, in the municipality of Chapareillan!!

Area closed to hikers
In a press release, the Prefect of Isère points out that a municipal order of 21 July 2016, still in force, prohibits access to the area concerned. But after this new ground movement "there is no threat to homes".
"For everyone's safety, hikers are strictly requested not to go to the site", the prefecture continues. "The State services are paying very close attention to, and are mobilised on, the risks that these geological movements could cause".
