In January, the municipal library is hosting the canvases of La Terrasse artist Jean-François HUGUES.
"My series of galactic canvases is recent work, spanning
5 years, for which I spent 6 years of preparation, both to
create the colours and to perfect the technique.
These canvases explore the universe around us. Initially inspired
by images from the Hubble telescope, many themes
emerged:

- the « Galaxiales », whose name speaks for itself,
- the « Abyssales », which explore the seabed,
- the « Célestes », which explore the birth of life, dance, the Earth's
magma,
- the « Souffles », which explore the birth of life and of the universe through
the meeting of colours, ...

All these canvases are born of a theme and an intention, of
work on the present and its intuitions. It is fundamentally
an encounter between intention and (coloured) matter.
From which the work develops, through both reflection and intuition, to
the rhythms of both Chronos and Kairos".

Come and discover this unique exhibition.
From 04/01 to 31/01/2022
Open Tuesday and Friday from 4pm to 7pm. Wednesday and Saturday from 10am to 12pm.
